TEMPEST studies were first conducted in the U.S., which found that signals emitted by various electronic devices were “interceptable”. Vibration data emitted by electrical devices can be extracted by unauthorized persons. As a defense against this activity, a method has been created by which electrical and IT devices are given a new conductive coating that prevents or reduces the escape of electromagnetic signals and makes decoding impossible by generating signals and noise.
